> Four Studio Startups that serve other Startups, each traced from Idea to Live on a different Product Template, operating model, and Motion.

Each example is a real [Startup](/business/nouns/startup) whose [Customers](/business/nouns/customer) are other businesses, many of them Startups. Each runs a different [Product Template](/business/nouns/product-template), operating model, and [Motion](/business/nouns/motion), traced from [Idea](/business/nouns/idea) to [Live](/business/lifecycle/states/live).

## How to read an example
Every example answers five questions: what [Problem](/business/nouns/problem) it serves, which template it runs, what it sells, how it finds buyers, and what Live requires. Every step is a recorded run, so you can replay any example and watch each [Action](/business/nouns/action) it took.

## headless.ly
headless.ly sells the headless [Systems](/business/nouns/system) every Startup here inherits, such as CRM, support, and billing, to businesses built elsewhere. Its buyers are developers and their agents, who want Systems they call by API and MCP with no screens to click.

It runs [Headless SaaS](/products/templates/headless-saas) under the autonomous operating model, with the b2d and b2a Motions. Its [Offers](/business/nouns/offer) are usage-priced per System, and its demand comes free from documentation, answer engines, and agent registries. It reaches Live when an outside developer's agent signs up, calls a System, and pays with no person involved.

## headless.marketing
headless.marketing runs demand [Plays](/business/nouns/play) for a Startup inside that Startup's own Systems, and attributes the revenue each Play earns. Its Problem is the one every new business shares: a product with no buyers yet.

It runs [Services-as-Software](/products/templates/services-as-software) under the autonomous operating model, with the b2b and b2a2b Motions. It prices per accepted outcome under an [Outcome Contract](/business/nouns/outcome-contract), so a buyer pays only for qualified demand it accepts. It reaches Live on its first outside buyer's acceptance.

## agentic.services
agentic.services takes over a small firm's back office: bookkeeping, billing follow-up, and vendor paperwork. [Agents](/business/nouns/agent) do the work inside the firm's own Systems, and people resolve only the exceptions.

It runs [E2E managed service](/products/templates/managed-service) under the multi-human operating model, with the b2b Motion. It sells a monthly subscription per function, and its staffing scales with exceptions, not with clients. It reaches Live when a firm outside the [Portfolio](/business/nouns/portfolio) accepts its first closed month.

## api.lawyer
api.lawyer drafts, reviews, and advises, with every [Reserved Act](/business/nouns/reserved-act) performed by an independent licensed attorney. Legal is the worked vertical: its [Nouns](/business/nouns/noun), [Credentials](/business/nouns/credential), and regulations shape every step.

It runs [Licensed-human marketplace](/products/templates/licensed-marketplace) under the multi-human operating model, with the b2b and b2a2b Motions. Before Live, it recruits and credentials attorneys in each jurisdiction it serves. It reaches Live when an outside Customer accepts a reviewed contract signed off under an attorney's own Credential.
