> Leaseline from its first command to its first renewal season, in eight dated episodes, each with what changed in its definition and what it called.

Leaseline is the [Startup](/business/nouns/startup) every example on this site runs against. These eight episodes follow it from day 0 to 2026-10-22, each with what changed in its definition and the [Verbs](/business/nouns/verb) it called.

## The episodes

Episodes 1 to 3 are what every Startup meets in its first 90 days, from first command to first [Customers](/business/nouns/customer). Episodes 4 to 8 happen when Leaseline's own records say so. A [task guide](/start/guides) on the wakes shelf works the same way: it is offered when its [Event](/business/nouns/event) fires.

## Fork from here
Each episode names a tag in Leaseline's example repository, such as `leaseline.app@launch`, to fork with a `--from leaseline.app@launch` flag on `create startups`. The repository, its tags and the flag have status `planned`.
