> The founder creates Leaseline from the Solo SaaS template, states the bet in five slots and declares the one Noun the template lacks.

The founder creates Leaseline from the [Solo SaaS](/start/templates/solo-saas) template. By the end of the day it holds three lines of `startup.ts`, a [Founding Hypothesis](/business/founding-hypothesis) and the `Lease` [Noun](/business/nouns/noun).

## What happened
The founder states the bet before any code. The [Customer](/business/nouns/customer) is a property manager with 20 to 500 units, and the problem is renewals that slip past their date.

## What changed in the definition
| [File](/business/nouns/file) | [Change](/business/nouns/change) |
| --- | --- |
| `startup.ts` | Created: name, domain `leaseline.app`, `extends: 'solo-saas'`, the idea and five slots |
| `nouns/Lease.mdx` | Created: unit, resident, end date, rent, four states, `renew` and `notify` |

## What it called
- `npm create startups leaseline.app -- --template solo-saas`, which ran `Startup.build` in test.
- [`Offer.publish`](/business/nouns/offer/publish) on the draft `pro` [Offer](/business/nouns/offer), in test.

Fork from here: `leaseline.app@day-0`, status `planned`. Built in code in [creating the project](/code/learn/creating-the-project).
