# create

URL: /business/nouns/evidence/create · Id: `verb:Evidence.create` · Call: `await $.Evidence.create({ … })` (SDK) or the `do` tool at `https://api.sb/mcp`. Inputs says what to pass, Outputs what returns, When it waits who approves.

> Creates an Evidence.

Create makes a new [Evidence](/business/nouns/evidence) from the inputs below. It is inherited: every [Noun](/business/nouns/noun) has `get`, `list`, `create`, `update` and `delete`.

| `askedBy` | [Party](/business/nouns/party) | No | The Customer or Contact who asked through an App, the Portal or an Agent; their ask is Opinion grade. |
| `stance` | `string` | No | Whether it supports or refutes the slot it binds; a cancel refutes the slot its reason tests. |
