# accept

## Effects
- Emits [`Quote.accepted`](/business/events/Quote.accepted).
- Performed by the [Sales Engineer](/agents/sales/sales-engineer).
- One-way: it waits out its delay window, and runs in the `send` and `do` modes.
- Runs `Offer.accept` for each quoted Offer, pinning its Version at the quoted terms.
- Carries each line’s discount and the payment terms onto the Order or Subscription and their Invoices.
- Wins the Deal that issued the Quote and supersedes every other open Quote on it.
- A Service Order enters intake and authorizes payment; its Outcome Contract’s `earns` Event captures it.
