### Brand.clear
Clear checks a proposed Brand name against trademark registers, Domain availability and the Startup’s handles on outside platforms in one call. [Verb page](/business/nouns/brand/clear?interface=api).

Path: `brand`. Body, as JSON: the other inputs. Emits [`Brand.cleared`](/business/events/Brand.cleared).

**Inputs**

| `markets` | list of [Market](/business/nouns/market) | No | The Markets whose registers to search. Defaults to the Startup’s Markets. |
| `classes` | `integer[]` | No | Trademark classes. Defaults to the classes of the Startup’s Products. |

**Returns**

**Refuses when**
