# Source routes: update, delete

### Source.update
Changes the given properties of a Source. [Verb page](/business/nouns/source/update?interface=api).

Path: `id`. Body, as JSON: the other inputs. Emits `Source.updated`.

**Inputs**

| `acquired` | `string` | No | One of `owned`, `wrapped`, or `recruited`. |

### Source.delete
Deletes a Source: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/source/delete?interface=api).
