# Document commands: update, delete

### Document.update
Changes the given properties of a Document. [Verb page](/business/nouns/document/update?interface=cli).

npx startup-builder do Document.update --json '<input>' [--try | --send | --do]
```

Emits `Document.updated`.

**Inputs**
