# Theme commands: update, delete

### Theme.update
Changes the given properties of a Theme. [Verb page](/business/nouns/theme/update?interface=cli).

```

Emits `Theme.updated`.

**Inputs**

| `tokens` | `json` | No | The token values, in light and dark modes. |
| `css` | `text` | No | Extra CSS, applied after the tokens. |

### Theme.delete
Deletes a Theme: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/theme/delete?interface=cli).
