# Approval methods: approve, refuse

### Approval.approve
Approve allows the pending Action an Approval holds, and that Action runs. [Verb page](/business/nouns/approval/approve?interface=sdk).

Emits [`Approval.approved`](/business/events/Approval.approved).

### Approval.refuse
