# Candidate methods: update, delete

### Candidate.update
Changes the given properties of a Candidate. [Verb page](/business/nouns/candidate/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Candidate.updated`.

**Inputs**

| `delta` | `json` | No | The per-Verb difference between the Candidate and the incumbent Agent in the tryout. |
