# Conversation methods: update, delete

### Conversation.update
Changes the given properties of a Conversation. [Verb page](/business/nouns/conversation/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Conversation.updated`.

**Inputs**

| `id` | `string` | Yes | The id of the Conversation. |
| `subject` | `string` | No | What the Thread is about. |
| `answeredAt` | `datetime` | No | When a Worker last answered. |
| `resolution` | `string` | No | How it was resolved: the Customer said so, or 72 hours passed after an answer with no reply. |

### Conversation.delete
Deletes a Conversation: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/conversation/delete?interface=sdk).
