# Deal methods: update, delete

### Deal.update
Changes the given properties of a Deal. [Verb page](/business/nouns/deal/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Deal.updated`.

**Inputs**

### Deal.delete
Deletes a Deal: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/deal/delete?interface=sdk).
