# Entitlement methods: update, delete

### Entitlement.update
Changes the given properties of an Entitlement. [Verb page](/business/nouns/entitlement/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Entitlement.updated`.

**Inputs**

### Entitlement.delete
Deletes an Entitlement: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/entitlement/delete?interface=sdk).
