# Gathering methods: register

### Gathering.register
Register gives a Contact a place at a Gathering, or a waitlist place when the Gathering is full. [Verb page](/business/nouns/gathering/register?interface=sdk).

Emits [`Gathering.registered`](/business/events/Gathering.registered).
