# ICP methods: update, delete

### ICP.update
Changes the given properties of an ICP. [Verb page](/business/nouns/icp/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `ICP.updated`.

**Inputs**

### ICP.delete
Deletes an ICP: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/icp/delete?interface=sdk).

Emits `ICP.deleted`.
