# Key Result methods: update, delete

### KeyResult.update
Changes the given properties of a Key Result. [Verb page](/business/nouns/key-result/update?interface=sdk).

```

Emits `KeyResult.updated`.

**Inputs**

| `baseline` | `number` | No | Where the Metric started. |
| `target` | `number` | No | Where the Metric must reach. |

### KeyResult.delete
Deletes a Key Result: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/key-result/delete?interface=sdk).
