# Permission methods: update, delete

### Permission.update
Changes the given properties of a Permission. [Verb page](/business/nouns/permission/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Permission.updated`.

**Inputs**

### Permission.delete
Deletes a Permission: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/permission/delete?interface=sdk).
