# Person methods: update, delete

### Person.update
Changes the given properties of a Person. [Verb page](/business/nouns/person/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Person.updated`.

**Inputs**

### Person.delete
Deletes a Person: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/person/delete?interface=sdk).

Emits `Person.deleted`.
