# Prospect methods: update, delete

### Prospect.update
Changes the given properties of a Prospect. [Verb page](/business/nouns/prospect/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Prospect.updated`.

**Inputs**

### Prospect.delete
Deletes a Prospect: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/prospect/delete?interface=sdk).
