# Software methods: update, delete

### Software.update
Changes the given properties of a Software. [Verb page](/business/nouns/software/update?interface=sdk).

Emits `Software.updated`.

**Inputs**

### Software.delete
Deletes a Software: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/software/delete?interface=sdk).
