# Template methods: update, delete

### Template.update
Changes the given properties of a Template. [Verb page](/business/nouns/template/update?interface=sdk).

```

Emits `Template.updated`.

**Inputs**

### Template.delete
Deletes a Template: a soft delete that keeps its history, undone by `Thing.restore`. [Verb page](/business/nouns/template/delete?interface=sdk).

Emits `Template.deleted`.
