# StartupBuilder > StartupBuilder builds a business, not just an app: the site, domain, payments, sales, support, legal and books around a product, and the agents that run them. For agents: - With MCP: `POST https://startupbuilder.dev/mcp` (JSON-RPC, read-only, no key). Call `guides` with the founder’s words; an empty list means no guide fits, so call `search`; `fetch` reads a page by id (`guide:charge-monthly`, `verb:Offer.create`) or URL. [Docs for agents](/start/docs-for-agents.md) explains it. - Without MCP: [/asks.json](/asks.json) holds every guide, with its phrasings, its Verbs in order, the inputs each takes, its approval and its exits ([/asks.txt](/asks.txt) is the same in plain text). - Twins: every page is Markdown at its URL plus `.md`. Each opens with its id; a guide’s twin lists every call with its inputs and types, who approves, what it returns and what to offer next. Ask for it: 1. Offer only guides whose status is `live` or `beta`; say a `planned` one is planned. 2. Match the founder's words in [/asks.json](/asks.json), then call the guide's Verbs in order, with the founder's own values in place of each input its `examples` names; `find:` reads the record first, `$N` is step N's result. 3. Ask at most the plan’s one question, and stop at every exit and approval the guide declares. 4. Read any page as Markdown at its URL plus `.md`, and cite its id. Links are relative to https://startupbuilder.dev; every page is Markdown at its URL plus `.md`. The tabs Business, Products, Agents, Workflows and Systems say what each thing is; Code says how to build it with the `startup-builder` package. Business-as-Code: 192 Nouns, the records a Startup keeps, and 291 Verbs, each `Noun.verb` (`Offer.publish`) with one input on the API, SDK, CLI and MCP. Core Nouns: Startup, Idea, Product, Offer, Customer, Agent, Noun, Verb, Action, Event, Decision, Studio, Company, Price, Hypothesis, Metric, Order, Role, Team, Agreement. [Nouns & Verbs](/business/nouns-and-verbs.md). Start here: - With your agent: Ask for the business in plain words; your agent calls each Verb for you. [With your agent](/start/with-your-agent.md), [Guides](/start/guides.md) - With code: Run `npm create startups`, then build with the API, SDK, CLI or MCP.
