Agent-to-agent tasks let an outside [Agent](/business/nouns/agent) hand a minted Agent a [Task](/business/nouns/task) over the open agent-to-agent protocol and follow it to done.

## Contract
Status `planned`. Over MCP, an outside agent calls a minted agent's [Verbs](/business/nouns/verb) one at a time. An agent-to-agent Task hands over the whole job instead, over the open agent-to-agent protocol, and the outside agent follows the Task's status to done.

| Proposed | Holds |
| --- | --- |
| The agent card's task skills | Each task type the product sells, from its eval cases |
| A Task's status | The same `pending`, `done`, `failed`, `canceled` and `refused` every [Action](/business/nouns/action) reports |

Each handed-over Task bills as any other: on the [Evaluator](/business/nouns/evaluator)'s passing verdict, inside the buyer's [Mandate](/business/nouns/mandate).

## Verbs
None.

## Interfaces
None.

## Example
A property management platform's agent hands Leaseline's agent "send renewal notices for these 12 leases" as one Task. It reads the Task's status until it is `done`, then reads the 12 Actions it took.
