> An App is the signed-in product your Customers use, compiled from who they are and what they may do.

An [App](/business/nouns/app) is the signed-in product your [Customers](/business/nouns/customer) use. It compiles from each [Persona](/business/nouns/persona), the [Role](/business/nouns/role) it holds and that Role's [Permissions](/business/nouns/permission), so no screen is drawn by hand.
