## Contract
| Clause | Terms |
| --- | --- |
| Starts | An offer of employment is accepted. |
| Deadline | The employee completes their section by day one. The employer examines documents by day three. |
| Signs | An authorized human representative examines the documents and attests ([Sworn filings](/systems/legal-and-corporate/floor/sworn-filings)). |
| Retention | Three years after hire or one year after employment ends, whichever is later. |
| While held | Not used. Employees join a [Startup](/business/nouns/startup) that has its own [Company](/business/nouns/company). |
| Records | An Attestation and a retained [Document](/business/nouns/document) for each employee. |
