Sort mail reads each scanned piece of mail, routes legal mail within the hour, deposits checks, and forwards or shreds the rest.

## Trigger
Runs on `File.created` where `source = 'mail'`. Part of [Mail handling](/workflows/processes/mail-handling), run by the [Operations Team](/agents/operations).

## Steps
1. Read the scan and sort it: legal, check, bill or other.
2. Route legal process and state notices to the Legal Lead within the hour.
3. Deposit each check and attach its scan to the Transaction.
4. Record each paper bill as a Bill for payables.
5. Forward personal mail and shred junk.

## Example
