Offboard from a Role revokes the leaving holder’s access within the hour, hands on their open work, and settles what they are owed.

## Trigger
Runs on [`Role.vacated`](/business/events/Role.vacated). Part of [Staffing](/workflows/processes/staffing), run by the [People Team](/agents/people).

## Steps
1. Revoke every Integration the holder connected, within the hour.
2. Hand the holder’s open Tasks to the Role’s escalation Role.
3. Release a person with the cause on record.
4. Pay the person any final amount owed. It waits 1 business hour first.
