Agent-to-agent tasks

Agent-to-agent tasks let an outside Agent hand a minted Agent a Task over the open agent-to-agent protocol and follow it to done.

Contract

Status planned. Over MCP, an outside agent calls a minted agent's Verbs one at a time. An agent-to-agent Task hands over the whole job instead, over the open agent-to-agent protocol, and the outside agent follows the Task's status to done.

ProposedHolds
The agent card's task skillsEach task type the product sells, from its eval cases
A Task's statusThe same pending, done, failed, canceled and refused every Action reports

Each handed-over Task bills as any other: on the Evaluator's passing verdict, inside the buyer's Mandate.

Example

A property management platform's agent hands Leaseline's agent "send renewal notices for these 12 leases" as one Task. It reads the Task's status until it is done, then reads the 12 Actions it took.
