Pay people
Pay people pays every employee and contractor for the Period, with withholding and tax statements.
Trigger
Runs every month. Part of Payroll, run by the People Team.
Steps
- Total each Human’s pay for the Period.
- Withhold the taxes each jurisdiction requires. It waits 1 business hour first.
- Pay each Human and record the Transaction. It waits 1 business hour first.
- File the Period’s payroll returns. It waits 1 business hour first.

Example
At month end, Pay people totals the appraiser's pay, withholds the required taxes, pays through payroll, and files the month's returns.
