Assess risks

Assess risks scores every open Risk each quarter, links each to its Controls, and sends any Risk left untreated to the Founder.

Trigger

Runs every quarter. Part of Risk assessment, run by the Operations Team.

Steps

  1. List every open Risk and every Risk past its review date.
  2. Score each Risk’s likelihood and impact from the Startup’s records.
  3. Link each Risk to the Controls that lower it.
  4. Send each Risk left above its target to the Founder to accept or fund. It waits 1 business hour first.
  5. Send the Founder the quarter’s risk register.

Outputs

Example

At the end of the quarter the Risk Analyst scores 12 open Risks. Eleven sit under their targets. The twelfth, a single payment provider, goes to the Founder, who funds a fallback.
