Event
An Event is the immutable record of something that happened to a Thing, named by its Noun and past-tense Verb.
Metrics, Triggers and Watches read Events, so every number and every automation traces back to one.
Properties
| Property | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
name | string | required | The Noun and the event form of its Verb, such as Order.placed. |
at | datetime | required | When it happened. |

deliveredBy, inversedelivers. - An Event is emitted by one Action: a completed Action emits its Events, which Triggers, Watches and Metrics read.
emittedBy, inverseemits. - An Event feeds many Metrics: a Metric derives from Events and is never typed in.
