Cancel a subscription
Cancel a subscription ends renewal in one step, confirms the last day of access, and sends the Customer their data.
Trigger
Runs on every Subscription.unsubscribe call. Part of Trials and plan changes, run by the Finance Team.
Steps
- End renewal at the close of the paid period, at once, with no call or offer in the way.
- Confirm the cancellation with the last day of access and how to come back.
- Send the Customer an export of their data, kept available after access ends.

Example
A property manager on leaseline.app's $29 plan clicks cancel on the 12th. Its renewal ends at once, the confirmation says access runs to the 30th, and an export of every lease arrives the same minute. The cancel reason starts Save and win back.
