Convert a trial
Convert a trial reminds each Customer before their trial ends and converts it to paid, or ends it, on the Offer’s terms.
Trigger
Runs every day. Part of Trials and plan changes, run by the Finance Team.
Steps
- Find trials that end within the reminder window.
- Remind each Customer of the date, the Price and a one-step cancel link.
- Charge the card on file when the trial ends. It waits 1 business hour first.
Outputs
Example
A 14-day trial started on the 1st. On the 11th the Customer gets the date, the $29 Price and a cancel link. On the 15th the card on file is charged.
