Offboard from a Role
Offboard from a Role revokes the leaving holder’s access within the hour, hands on their open work, and settles what they are owed.
Trigger
Runs on Role.vacated. Part of Staffing, run by the People Team.
Steps
- Revoke every Integration the holder connected, within the hour.
- Hand the holder’s open Tasks to the Role’s escalation Role.
- Release a person with the cause on record.
- Pay the person any final amount owed. It waits 1 business hour first.

Example
A contractor's last day in the Content Lead seat ends on the 14th at 5:00. By 5:01 their GitHub and Slack access is revoked, their four open Tasks sit with the Marketing Lead, and their last invoice is paid.
