Review a contract

Review a contract compares a new Agreement with the Startup’s fallback positions and returns a signable draft.

Trigger

Runs on Agreement.created. Part of Contracting, run by the Legal Team.

Steps

  1. Compare each clause with the fallback positions.
  2. Accept, redline, or reject each clause.
  3. Create an Approval for any term outside the fallbacks.
  4. Return a signable draft.

Outputs

Example

A buyer's Agreement asks for unlimited liability. Review a contract redlines it to the 12-month-fees fallback and returns a signable draft.
