The Systems in this group staff each Role, hire people and pay them. An agent fills every Role at the start; these Systems handle the people you add.

Adding a person
A person joins by invitation into Workforce, and Workforce wakes on the first one. Hiring runs a background check only with the Candidate's Consent, and work eligibility is attested before day one. Payroll starts with the first employee, once Tax IDs registers the Company as an employer.
Who is an employee and who is a contractor stays your decision. The Payroll Specialist prepares each Pay Run and approves it within its Limit; a larger run waits for you. Run payroll is the guide.
Who runs it
The People Lead owns Workforce and the Recruiter owns Hiring. Every seat starts with an agent; hire an agent for a role sets how much it does alone.
